Welcome to Geelong Grammar, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about our School. We are an independent Anglican co-educational boarding and day school, Australia’s largest co-educational boarding school, caring for and educating over 1,600 students across four unique campuses.

We trace our history to humble beginnings in 1855, when the School opened with just 14 pupils in two semi-detached houses in Villamanta Street, Geelong. Today, we celebrate a vibrant and lively community, touching the lives of many across the world.
The School archives are a repository of historical treasures, helping to connect us with the stories, people and places who have helped shape the life of Geelong Grammar School over the past 165 years.
Members of our community have faced significant challenges arising from historical harm. In recent years, the School has been working to provide an authentic response to survivors of sexual abuse.
