Meet our panellists
DAVID BOWSER (Fr’90)
CEO, Curio Group
David Bowser has over 20 years’ experience in education research and development, and financial services both as an academic (Melbourne and Cambridge Universities for 14 years) and as a leading strategy consultant where he was retained by CEOs, government departments and their executive teams to advise on their most complex strategic issues (Nous Group, Principal and Education sector leader for six years).
In 2016 David created Curio, a collective of advisors, educators and product developers focused on working directly with organisations to make a difference. The same year, Curio established Academy to provide online education development delivery services to Universities. David is known for his strong analytical capacity, innate curiosity and enthusiasm to develop insights for clients that can be embraced by an organisation and readily implemented by staff.
David was elected Chair of the Geelong Grammar School Council in November 2025.


Imogen Smith-Waters (He’10)
Privacy, Cyber Security & Online Safety Lawyer, Atlassian
Imogen Smith-Waters is a lawyer specialising in data law. As an in-house lawyer for software company, Atlassian, she advises on various incidents impacting data.
While excited by the possibilities AI offers, Imogen sees first-hand how AI is increasingly misused by cyber criminals and individuals for illegal and harmful purposes.
She supports Atlassian to manage risks that new technologies introduce, comply with global data laws, and ensure that software is built with safety, privacy and security in mind.
Before joining Atlassian, Imogen worked in similar roles at ANZ Bank, Deloitte and law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.
Imogen was elected a committee member of the Old Geelong Grammarian’s Association in May 2026.
Marcus Woodhouse (FB’94)
Head of Clients, Innovior
Marcus Woodhouse is the Head of Clients at Innovior, where he leads client strategy, partnerships, and the delivery of automation and AI-driven transformation across enterprise organisations.
With deep experience in healthcare and higher education, Marcus works closely with executives to improve operational performance through intelligent automation—combining robotic process automation (RPA), AI, and human-in-the-loop models to deliver measurable outcomes from day one.
He has been instrumental in scaling automation solutions across Australia’s private hospital sector, particularly in revenue cycle management, billing, and finance operations. Marcus is known for his pragmatic approach to AI—focusing on where it delivers real value today, while helping organisations prepare for the next wave of agentic and decision-driven AI.
Marcus is a regular speaker on AI, automation, and the future of work, bringing a commercial lens to how organisations can adopt emerging technologies with confidence and control.
