You are warmly invited to get “Back in the Boat” and join the WH Pincott Club for an inaugural event designed to reconnect past rowers, engage current and past supporters and invest in the continued success of GGS Rowing. Funds raised will directly support priority areas within the GGS Rowing Programme.
Form your own crew or secure an individual seat and be placed into a crew on the day. Enjoy a rare and meaningful opportunity to return to the water. After the on-water activities, stay on for a relaxed post-row gathering at the Barwon Rowing Shed Bar.
NOTE: This is an Adult only event.
Event Day Schedule:
1:00pm – Arrival & Welcome
• Guest arrival at GGS Boatshed
• Informal reconnection and crew check-in
1:20pm – Official Welcome & Briefing
• Welcome from Director of Rowing / WH Pincott President
• Overview of the day and safety briefing
• Crew and boat allocations confirmed
1:40pm – Boat Preparation & Launch
• Crews move to allocated shells
• Coxswains and GGS Senior Rowers assist with setup and push-off
2:00pm – On-Water Rowing Session
• Structured row (light paddle / short pieces)
• Opportunity for photos and on-water engagement
• Safety boats active throughout
2:45pm – Return to Boatshed & Pack Down
• Boats retrieved and equipment secured
• Informal regrouping on land
3:00pm – Post-Row Hospitality (@ Barwon Rowing Shed Bar)
• Drinks and light catering
• Social connection and storytelling
4:30pm – Event Close
Dress: Casual (for the weather & a row)
