The Biddlecombe Society was established in 2002 to commemorate one of our first benefactors, Commander John Biddlecombe and his wife Janet, who funded six masters’ residences at Corio between 1920 and 1925.
Today, the Biddlecombe Society honours and recognises those who intend to leave a bequest in their Will to the Geelong Grammar Foundation as an enduring way of supporting the future of the School.
“I firmly believe that a good education is the greatest gift you can give a child… If my bequest can assist a family to give their child an opportunity they would not otherwise contemplate, then it is the least I can do.”
– Fiona Ratcliffe (Archer, Je’77)
